I had a rough idea of how to design an app and a website, drawing inspiration from most of the mainstream social software available in the market. However, ultimately, I decided to opt for a website format as the primary medium for in-depth content. This is because considering that apps require a download process, whereas websites can be accessed immediately, people might be more inclined to obtain the information they need from the website. Our website should provide people with some advice on environmental protection, featuring papers authored by our professionals and posts submitted by users. Additionally, it can connect users with our staff for technical assistance (such as installing a new energy-efficient heating system and electric vehicle charging stations for a newly renovated home), and offer the sale of eco-friendly products, which will be featured in a dedicated shopping section.
